CCSO perform Haydn, Mozart and Stravinsky. Cardiff's own Symphony Orchestra performs three inspirational works at The Gate on Friday 1st May (8pm).
Joined by soloists Lowri Porter and Audrey Barr (Violin and Viola respectively, Welsh National Opera), City of Cardiff Symphony Orchestra will be performing Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola. Considered one of Mozart’s most genial works, this is sure to be a treat for the audience.
The City of Cardiff Symphony Orchestra will also be celebrating the bicentenary of Joseph Haydn with a performance of his 'Oxford' Symphony. Finally, the orchestra will be performing Stravinsky's 'Pulcinella' suite.
